Bradley D. Scheick is Of Counsel in DDRS’ Real Estate and Business practice groups. Mr. Scheick represents lenders and borrowers in connection with the negotiation, documentation, and closing of mortgage loans, mezzanine debt, and other financing transactions across a broad range of property types. In addition, he represents property owners and users in a wide array of other real estate-related transactions, including purchase and sale transactions and commercial leases.

He also regularly handles real estate-related due diligence investigations, title and survey investigations, and corporate matters that arise in connection with real estate transactions, such as the structuring, formation, and modification of legal entities, and the drafting and negotiation of corporate agreements, including service and consulting agreements and management agreements. Before joining DDRS, Mr. Scheick practiced in the Real Estate and Finance groups at Lubin Olson & Niewiadomski and Miller Starr Regalia.

Mr. Scheick was honored by Thomson Reuters as a Northern California Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2013 and 2014.

  • Represented a national bank in connection with $55,000,000 construction financing facility, including separate acquisition, site development, and revolving line components, for the development of single-family home projects in Fremont and Union City, California.
  • Represented a national bank in connection with workout of a $29,500,000 construction loan, including drafting and negotiating forbearance and extension agreements.
  • Served as primary counsel for a national bank’s nationwide religious institutions lending portfolio, handling negotiation and documentation of 100+ term and construction loan originations, modifications, and refinancings.
