Jeffrey T. Antonchuk has been with Dudnick Detwiler Rivin & Stikker since 1999 and is a partner in the firm's estate planning practice. His practice includes estate and gift tax planning for high net worth individuals and families, trust and estate administration, advising fiduciaries regarding trusts and estates, preparing and filing federal and state estate tax returns and preparing and negotiating premarital property agreements.

Jeff knew he wanted to pursue a career in estate planning before he even entered law school. His own personal experience with a poorly drafted and implemented estate plan prompted him to take all of the appropriate tax courses through the LL.M. program at Golden Gate University and to intern at a prestigious estate planning firm in San Francisco. Jeff takes pride in the fact that he has been a trusts and estates attorney his entire legal career, the variety and complexity of his practice and in knowing that his hard work and counsel not only assist his clients with wealth preservation but also family harmony and security.

Jeff is the author of "The Transfer Tax Treatment of Gifts to Minors", 7 California Trusts and Estates Quarterly 4 (2001) and a co-author of "GRITs, GRATs and Defective Grantor Trusts: The Best Laid Plans", New York University 58th Institute on Federal Taxation, 2000. Jeff has been a panelist for seminars regarding various estate planning and administration topics, including CEB's "Estate Planning & Administration: 21st Annual Recent Developments (2006)".

Jeff graduated from San Diego State University with distinction in 1993 and received his J.D. from Golden Gate University 1998, where he concentrated his studies on estate planning and transfer taxes. He is a member of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section of The State Bar of California, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association and the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
