Partner

Andrew (Andy) is a partner who counsels clients in a wide range of business and transactional matters. He came to this specialty in a non-traditional way, earning an aeronautical engineering degree and beginning his career as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing). He then switched tracks and attended law school, working as a litigator for four years after earning his JD. He subsequently transitioned away from litigation to transactional work, which is now his primary focus. His experience includes mergers, acquisitions and other business restructuring transactions, equity financings, securities issuances and regulatory compliance, corporate governance and strategic planning, commercial agreements, and intellectual property protection, for individuals, investors, family-owned and other private and public companies of all sizes.

Andy is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and spends most of his time working directly with clients. Outside the office, you can find him spending time with his family (including two teenage sons), hiking, or sailing.
